The details that make the whole system work
A roof is more than shingles or tiles. Gutters move water away from your foundation. Ventilation keeps your attic cool and dry. Flashing seals every joint and penetration. When these components fail, the whole system suffers.
We handle all of it.
Gutters
Seamless gutter installation — We fabricate seamless aluminum gutters on-site from a continuous coil. No seams means fewer leak points. Available in multiple colors to match your trim.
Gutter repair — Sagging sections, leaking joints, detached downspouts. Small gutter problems cause big foundation and landscaping damage over time.
Gutter guard installation — Keeps leaves and debris out so your gutters actually work. Especially important if you have trees near your roof.
Downspout routing — We make sure water is directed away from your foundation, not pooling right next to it.
Skylights
Skylight installation — Adding a skylight to a room can transform it. We handle the roof opening, framing, flashing, and installation. We work with major brands including Velux and Fakro.
Skylight repair and replacement — Leaking skylights are one of the most common roof problems. Usually it is a flashing failure, not the skylight itself. We diagnose the real problem and fix it.
Tubular skylights — Smaller, more affordable option for bringing natural light into hallways, bathrooms, and closets without the structural work of a full skylight.
Ventilation
Ridge vents — Continuous ventilation along the roof peak. The most effective passive ventilation method for most roof types.
Soffit vents — Intake vents under the eaves that work with ridge vents to create proper airflow through the attic.
Attic fans — Powered ventilation for homes where passive venting is not enough. Particularly useful in LA’s hotter inland areas.
Why ventilation matters — An underventilated attic reaches 150+ degrees in LA summers. That heat cooks your shingles from underneath, shortening their life. It also makes your AC work harder. Proper ventilation can lower attic temperatures by 40 degrees.
Chimney flashing
New flashing installation — Step flashing and counter-flashing around chimneys is one of the most common leak sources on any roof. We do it right with proper metal work and sealing.
Reflashing — If your chimney flashing is rusted, separated, or sealed with caulk (a temporary fix at best), we replace it with properly installed metal flashing.
Soffit and fascia
Repair and replacement — Rotted fascia boards and damaged soffit panels are usually a sign of poor drainage or ventilation. We fix the underlying cause and replace the damaged material.
Material options — Wood, aluminum, and vinyl. Each has trade-offs in terms of cost, appearance, and maintenance.
